May 13, 2000 was my first opportunity to use your lure. I was very impressed! I was fishing out of Freeport, Texas with Capt. Elliott's Party Boats and was catching great Red Snapper while rods all around me were dormant.
I used the 4 oz. in pink/yellow until the hair was torn completely away by hungry Red Snapper and Kingfish! Then I sent one more sardine down on just the bare head of the jig and caught another good Snapper with very little reduction in waiting time!
After that I put some super glue on my remaining jigs thread that holds the hair.
